Ingredients
Yield: 6 portions
- 525 g ACE Maize Meal
- 2 sachet Benny Stock Powder
- 2.25 l Hot water
- 375 ml Cream
- 150 g Butter, chopped
- 150 g Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Tomato relish:
- 1 can Master Chef Spicy Pap Relish
Method
- Bring chicken stock to the boil in a saucepan.
- Mix the ACE Maize Meal with cream to form a paste, add to Benny Chicken Stock, reduce the heat and stir constantly, using a whisk, for 4-5 minutes until soft.
- Stir in the butter, Parmesan, salt and pepper.
- For the tomato relish; simply heat Master Chef Pap Relish and serve.
Tip:
Deep fry some basil to use as garnish. Deep frying the basil will help ensure the longevity of the basil and prevent it from going limp.
