Sauce:
• 100 g Margarine 70% Fat
• 150 g Brown Sugar
• 200 g Long Life whipping or fresh cream
• 90 g Water
Pudding:
• 1 kg Golden Cloud Malva Pudding Mix
• 450 g Water
Prepare the Sauce first as this must be spooned over the pudding as
soon as it comes out of the oven.
For Pudding:
1. Add all the ingredients into a mixing bowl.
2. Using a flat beater, mix on slow speed for 1 minute.
3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, then mix for a further 4minutes on medium speed.
4. Scale 350g of batter into foil punnet.
5. Bake for ± 30 minutes at 180°C, or until baked through.
6. For the Sauce:
○ Add all the ingredients to a saucepan over medium heat.
○ Once the margarine has melted, stir until well combined and
○ sugar dissolved.
○ Remove from heat.
Method of finishing:
1. Remove pudding from oven and while hot, loosen the sides of
2. the pudding with a spatula.
3. Pierce the surface of the pudding with a fork so the sauce can soak in.
4. While very hot, spoon the sauce over the pudding.
5. Cool down, cover and refrigerate.
