Tastic Bulk Rice

Tastic Bulk Rice

Enhance your culinary creations with the exceptional quality and versatility of Tastic Rice.
Ingredients

Yield: 240 portions 

  • 16000 ml Water
  • 250 g Fine Salt
  • 6000 g Tastic Parboiled Rice

Optionally to spice up your Tastic Rice: 

Lemon and herb:

  • 40 g Lemon zest
  • 100 g Mixed dried herbs or fresh Thyme

Turmeric Rice:

  • 45 g Butter or Ghee
  • 50 g Turmeric ground
  • 40 g Fresh or ground Ginger
  • 30 g Fresh or ground Garlic
  • TT Salt
  • TT Ground Black pepper

* Bulk recipe for buffets or bulk prepping pre-service
* Adapt the size of the recipe to the biggest pot in your kitchen, remember the larger the pot the longer it will take to cook

 

 

 

Method
  1. Prepare Ingredients: Measure and add all the ingredients to your pot or rice cooker.
  2. Bring to Boil: Bring the water to a rolling boil.
  3. Simmer: Once boiled, reduce the heat to low and simmer with the lid on for 50 minutes.
  4. Check for Doneness: Periodically check if the rice is cooked to your desired level of tenderness.
  5. Serve: Once the rice is perfectly cooked and fluffy, transfer it into a serving pan using a large spoon or scoop.

This method ensures perfectly cooked rice every time, making it ideal for bulk cooking and serving to a large group.
